East Hanover, Florham Park Schools Delayed Due to Snowstorm
The kids get to sleep in as public works get the roads safe for students to travel.
Due to Tuesday's winter storm, public schools in East Hanover and Florham Park will open late Wednesday under an emergency delayed opening schedule, according to a statement from the school district.
In the East Hanover Township School District, all schools and district events will follow the delayed opening schedule, and lunch will be served in all schools.
The schedule is as follows:
Frank J. Smith Elementary School
Pre School 3-1 - 10:50 a.m.-1 p.m. Pre School 3-2 - 1 p.m.-3 p.m. Pre School 4-1 - 1 p.m.-3 p.m. ECC - 10:50 a.m.-3 p.m.

AM Kindergarten -10:50 a.m.-1:05 p.m. PM Kindergarten - 1:10 p.m.-3:20 p.m. Grades 1 and 2 - 10:50 a.m.-3:20 p.m.
Central Elementary School

Grades 3-5 10:35 a.m.-3:10 p.m.
East Hanover Middle School
Grades 6-8 10 a.m.–2:45 p.m.
In the Hanover Park Regional High School District, Whippany Park High School will have a 90-minute delayed opening. School begins at 9:40 a.m. Hanover Park High School opens at 9:15 a.m.
Finally, the Florham Park Public Schools will open two hours later than usual Wednesday due to the inclement weather.
