School Chiefs Collect Toys for Tots

The Morris County Association of School Administrators are collecting toys to donate to families affected by Hurricane Sandy.

School superintendents within Morris County are busy spreading a little holiday cheer.

Thirty-nine members of the Morris County Association of School Administrators (MCASA) will purchase gifts to donate to Toys of Tots through this week.

The drive, according to a press statement, is out of "a keen recognition that many children and their families throughout the state of New Jersey are struggling" from a difficult economy and from Hurricane Sandy.

Scott Pepper, the MCASA president, said, "If we can help a few hundred children enjoy the holiday season, we would consider this a great success."

Toys will be collected Friday and delivered to the Picatinny Aresenal Visitors Center in Dover.
