Hanover Park Regional District Earns Spot on AP Honor Roll

For the second time in two years, Hanover Park Regional High School District was cited for its progressive work with Advanced Placement students.

For the second time in as many years, the College Board has included the Hanover Park Regional High School District (HPRHSD) among its top notch Advanced Placement (AP) schools.

The district is among 477 such schools districts in the United States and Canada chosen for advancing AP testing among its pupils. Hanover Park was pick by the College Board for simultaneously increasing access to Advanced Placement
coursework while maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning
scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams.

"I am very proud of our accomplishment of receiving AP Honor Roll status for two
years in a row,” said Superintendent of Schools Carol Grossi in a press release “This honor is possible mainly because our students are challenging themselves with more rigorous coursework."

HPRHSD is one of 36 districts so honored in New Jersey. Inclusion on the exclusive list is done after the review of three years of AP testing data that tracks student participation in classes, improved performance levels, and increases in percentage of exams taken by minority students, according to the district.
