Priest Accused of Stabbing Fellow Clergy With Crucifix, Threatening to Kill

Disputed allegedly sparked over use of vehicle at retreat in Florham Park, report says.

A priest living in Whippany is accused of threatening to kill a fellow priest, who alleges he was stabbed in the arm with a metal crucifix. 

According to CBSNewYork, a criminal complaint has been filed in Florham Park by Father Emeka Okwuosa, who claims Father Frank Hreno threatened to kill him at the Vocationist Fathers Retreat and Conference Center.

The complaint only says Hreno threatened to kill Okwuosa, but CBS was told by the alleged victim that the assailant also stabbed him in the arm with a metal crucifix.

The alleged dispute was over the use of a car at the retreat, the report said.
