Student Accused of Arson for St. Elizabeth Dorm Fire

An 18-year-old student at the College of St. Elizabeth in Florham Park has been charged with arson for allegedly setting two rolls of toilet paper on fire Wednesday night in a dorm bathroom on campus, authorities announced.

Modified Athletic Complex Plan Approved

The Hanover Park Regional High School Board of Education signed off on modified athletic complex plans at its Wednesday night meeting and unanimously approved submitting the plans to the New Jersey Department of Education.

East Hanover Daisy Troop Helps Storm Victims

It took two moving trucks—one 20-foot and one 26-foot—to transport all  of the items collected for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts as part of Operation Sandy Claus, a  community effort started by an East Hanover Daisy Troop.

Bond for Aerial Ladder Truck Approved in East Hanover

The East Hanover CFO said the bond allows for up to $850,000 for the truck, but over $712,000 comes from a grant the township was awarded in 2011.
