Hangover Brunch Features Special Dishes and Drinks

Clifton, NJ – June 11, 2013 – The Shannon Rose Irish Pub introduces its special Sunday “Hangover” Brunch Menu. Featured are both special dishes and special drinks.

The Hangover Brunch includes Traditional Irish Breakfast of two eggs over-easy, black and white pudding, bangers, Irish bacon and beans, and a slice of Irish soda bread. “Crash” Browns and Eggs are two scrambled eggs alongside a mound of hash browns loaded with diced onions, peppers, and mushrooms and topped with rich brown gravy and melted Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. The French Toast Breakfast Stack includes grilled Taylor ham, Cheddar Jack cheese, and scrambled eggs paired with a deliciously Baileys-infused Texas-sized French toast, served with a side of hot maple syrup and grape jelly. The Juan O’Reilly Breakfast Burrito is stuffed with smoked bacon, scrambled eggs, hash brown potatoes, diced jalapeños, Cheddar Jack cheese, and salsa. The Hangover Burger is a delicious burger topped with an over-easy egg, Irish rashers, melted Irish Cheddar cheese, and ketchup, served on a toasted English muffin. Omelets are made to order. Sides include bacon, “Crash” brown, bangers, and corned beef hash.

There’s a special drink menu to go with the Hangover Brunch. Included are fresh-squeezed OJ screwdrivers, Blood Orange screwdrivers (Skyy Blood Orange Vodka with fresh squeezed orange juice), mimosas, Blood Orange mimosas, and Bloody Marys. Another feature is the “Pick Your Poison” specialty Bloody Marys. These include Bloody Pickle (Skyy Citrus, pickle juice, house-made Bloody Mary mix, a splash of lemon, and a pickle spear), Bloody Hot (Stoli Hot, house-made Bloody Mary mix, horseradish, tabasco, A1 sauce, Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of Kosher salt, and a dash of black pepper, served with a spiced rim), Dirty Mary Martini (vodka, olive juice, and house-made Bloody Mary mix served with a spiced rim and bleu cheese stuffed olives), and, for the bacon-lover,  a Bacon Mary Martini (vodka, house-made Bloody Mary mix, crumbled fresh bacon, and fresh squeezed lemon). In addition, bottles of Proseco and Allure Pink Moscato are available for a refreshing light drink.
